Your local tyre centre
The Tyre Warehouse is a tyre centre on Chelston Business Park in Wellington, supplying and fitting both new and part-worn tyres for every kind of vehicle on the road. Whether you have picked up a puncture on the way to work or you need a full set before an MOT, you can bring the vehicle to us and get it sorted the same day.
What we are really known for is the part-worn side of things. A lot of drivers assume a worn-out tyre means buying brand new, and it often does not. Our part-worn stock carries plenty of legal tread, and every tyre is pressure tested before it is fitted, which is what makes it a sensible saving rather than a gamble.
What we do
Four things we do day in, day out at the Chelston Business Park workshop. All of it fitted on site, most of it while you wait.
Brand new tyres supplied and fitted in Wellington, including recognised names such as Goodyear. Tell us your size and budget and we will find the right tyre for the way you drive.
Quality part-worn tyres with roughly 5mm to 8mm of tread left, every one pressure tested before it is fitted. The affordable way to get legal, safe tyres back on your vehicle.
Pulling to one side or wearing the edges off your tyres? Wheel alignment in Wellington sets your steering straight again and stops a new set of tyres wearing out early.
Alloy wheels in Wellington to replace a kerbed or buckled rim, or to change the look of your car. Ask what we have in your stud pattern and size.
Why drivers choose us
The point of The Tyre Warehouse is simple. Give people a real alternative to paying full price for new tyres, without cutting corners on how those tyres are checked or fitted.
Part-worn does not mean second best. Each tyre is pressure tested and inspected before it goes anywhere near your vehicle, so you know exactly what you are buying.
A full set of new tyres is a big bill. A good part-worn set with plenty of tread does the same job for a fraction of it, and we will always tell you honestly which makes more sense.
Where we have them in stock we will supply matching pairs and full sets, so your tyres wear evenly and your car handles the way it should.
New and part-worn stock from names drivers know, Goodyear among them, rather than whatever happens to be cheapest that week.
Cars, vans, 4x4s and commercial vehicles all get fitted here. One workshop in Wellington for the whole driveway or the whole fleet.
Plain answers, quick fitting and no upselling. Most jobs are done while you wait, and we will tell you up front if we cannot help.
Part-worn stock
Every part-worn tyre on our racks is labelled with its size, its brand and how much tread is left on it, so you can see exactly what you are getting before you commit. Stock changes constantly, so these are examples rather than a price list.
